Philosophy

IDCA assists parents who have chosen to assume sole responsibility for the education of their children.  The Academy adheres to the accredited Mother of Divine Grace School program, and offers tutoring and grading assistance in accordance with this program. 

Through this endeavor, the Academy works towards:

     1. Fostering in our students a true love for and fidelity to the Magisterium
​of the Roman Catholic Church and a desire to partake fully and joyfully in their heritage as baptized Christians.  As Christ says, “I am come that they may have life, and may have it more abundantly.” Jn. 10:10.  

     2. Immersing our students in what is true, good and beautiful, drawing upon centuries’ worth of the best in Catholic thought, education, art, literature and culture.  This process will form intelligent, clear and innovative thinkers ready for the challenges of the present age.  

     3. Encouraging and preparing our students to devote themselves to a life of service to God and His people. This will be accomplished through the cultivating of personal discipline through the examples of the Saints and great historical figures of Christendom.

Fortified in this way, each student will leave the Academy inspired and prepared to participate in Christ’s mission as Priest, Prophet and King, and to effectively contribute toward the New Evangelization.
